About

Katherine Griffin

Slade School of Fine Art Graduate Katherine Griffin uses a highly saturated palette and intense detail in her otherworldly dreamscapes. She uses juxtaposition to explore humanity's relationship with nature. Katherine won the prestigious Life Drawing Prize at the Slade in 2000 judged by the extremely inspiring artist Paula Rego. She now lives and works in Brighton where she has painted murals and large-scale sculptures for the Wild in Art charity trails.
